PSICOSSOMÁTICA

Since psychosomatics is a field of study that seeks to understand the relationship between psychological aspects and their physical symptoms in the individual, it seems appropriate to name the exhibition with this name. The artworks displayed portray various types of pain that move between the concrete and the abstract, which merge to obscure the practical difference between the two spectrums. There is no physical suffering without emotional suffering, just as there is no emotional suffering without physical suffering.

Artworks

The "Psicossomática" exhibition exclusively brought together digital paintings that the artist produced with illustration software.

Opening

The exhibition took place in the winter of 2024, in downtown São Paulo, and featured other attractions, with emphasis on the typical cuisine of the June festivals that are popular at this time of year and was provided by Aline Rocha, a chef who is inspired by ingredients and cuisine from the Amazon.

Guided tours

Between the months of June and July, the artist received visitors on weekends for a guided tour with the aim of talking about the creative process, commenting on the concept behind the works and how they connect with the theme of the exhibition and sharing experiences with fellow artists.
